Energy MGU Navitas hires Carrington as European head

Aug 18 - (The insurer) - MGU Navitas Assurance Partners has appointed Paul Carrington as senior director and head of Europe.
Carrington, who confirmed the appointment via LinkedIn on Monday, said he would be working to accelerate the growth of the MGU's European platform.
He has joined Navitas after a four-year stint as senior underwriter for credit and political risk at Brit Insurance. Before that, he held roles at EFE, Neon and Chubb.
Energy-focused credit insurance MGU Navitas was launched in 2022 by founder and managing director Jay Rose.
In 2023, Navitas entered into a relationship with Crum & Forster and Great American Insurance Company to provide trade credit insurance capacity to the North American energy markets.
