US Plains HRW Wheat-Spot basis bids remain steady
CHICAGO, Aug 15 (Reuters) - Spot basis bids for hard red winter wheat stayed flat in the southern U.S. Plains on Friday.
The cash market was largely quiet, though hard red winter wheat had a firm tone at the Gulf this week, grain dealers said.
K.C. September hard red winter wheat futures KWU25 ended up 2-3/4 cents at $5.07 a bushel after setting a contract low on Thursday.
