Ukraine says smoke detected near cargo port of Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant

KYIV, Aug 12 (Reuters) - Ukraine's energy ministry said on Tuesday that smoke had been detected near a cargo port of the Russian-occupied Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.

"The exact location of the fire and its possible consequences are currently being determined. We emphasize that the cargo port is located outside the protected perimeter of the station," it said on Telegram app.
