China to charge security deposits on halogenated butyl rubber imports from Canada, Japan

- China's commerce ministry announced on Tuesday preliminary rulings on its anti-dumping investigations into halogenated butyl rubber imported from Canada, Japan and India, a ministry statement showed.

The ministry decided to terminate the probe into Indian halogenated butyl rubber due to low import volumes, while announcing security deposits of up to 40.5% on imports from Canada and Japan, effective from August 14.
