South Korea Foreign Minister seeks AI, nuclear power cooperation in Rubio meeting, ministry says

SEOUL, Aug 1 (Reuters) - South Korea's Foreign Minister Cho Hyun asked U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio to develop cooperation between the two nations in artificial intelligence, nuclear power and quantum tech, South Korea's foreign ministry said on Friday.
Cho met Rubio in Washington for the first time since he was appointed to the role by new South Korean President Lee Jae Myung, who won a snap election in June.
