South Korea says US auto tariffs cut to 15%, no opening of rice and beef markets

- South Korea's presidential office said on Thursday that the country's trade agreement with the U.S. had pushed down tariffs on Korean cars to 15%.

The Asian country's rice and beef markets would not be further opened to the U.S. due to the sensitivity of the sectors, Kim Yong-beom, policy chief from the South Korean presidential office, also told a briefing.
