LONDON, July 29 (Reuters) - Northwest European gasoline profit margins gained about 19 cents to $11.61 a barrel on Tuesday.
A total of 4,000 metric tons of Eurobob E5 gasoline barges traded, with Trafigura selling to Aramco.
An additional 4,000 tons of Eurobob E10 barges traded as Gunvor sold to Trafigura.
Russia-backed Indian refiner Nayara Energy has reduced operations at its 400,000-barrel-per-day refinery in the aftermath of new European Union sanctions that targeted the firm, five sources familiar with the matter told Reuters.
The refinery was running at between 70% and 80% of capacity. At 100% capacity, it typically exports at least four million barrels of refined products each month including gasoline.
Russia on Monday imposed a temporary ban on gasoline exports by oil companies until August 31, aimed at keeping the domestic market stabilised during a period of high seasonal demand and ensuring sufficient fuel supplies for Russian farmers.
EU and UK gasoline and blending component exports to other regions averaged 934,000 barrels per day (bpd) in July, higher than the 915,000 bpd in June, Kpler data showed.
