Germany's Merz says he is hearing there could be trade decisions

BERLIN, July 23 (Reuters) - German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said on Wednesday he had just heard that there may be decisions being made on trade policy with the United States.
"We will discuss some very current issues together, including the current trade policy, about which we are hearing in these minutes that there could possibly be decisions," Merz said before talks with French President Emmanuel Macron outside Berlin.
