SANTIAGO, July 17 (Reuters) - Chile will hold a meeting with members of the country's copper industry next Tuesday to discuss the impacts of tariffs from the United States, Mining minister Aurora Williams said on Thursday.
Chile is the world's largest copper producer.
U.S. President Donald Trump said he would impose 50% tariffs on the metal earlier this month and Chile said it would wait to evaluate its response.
