Marsh names Beach to succeed Herring as UK CEO for energy and power

July 16 - (The Insurer) - Marsh has named Will Beach as CEO of energy and power, UK at Marsh Specialty, succeeding Andrew Herring who is set to transition to the role of global chair at the beginning of next year.
Beach currently leads Marsh's energy and power practice for the Middle East and Africa, a role he assumed in June 2020 and was extended to include India in 2023.
Other previous roles include energy and power placement leader at Marsh's Dubai office.
In his new position, which is effective from January 2026, Beach succeeds Herring, who has held the role since 2012.
Marsh announced in March that Herring will assume the role of global chair of energy and power, effective January 1, 2026.
At the same time, Marsh named Amy Barnes as global head of energy and power in addition to her responsibilities as head of climate and sustainability strategy.
