US Cash Products-Gulf Coast diesel declines on refiner sales

NEW YORK, July 15 (Reuters) - Cash differentials for diesel fell in the U.S. Gulf Coast spot market on Tuesday after multiple refiners sold the product on the first day to trade for Colonial Pipeline's 42nd annual delivery cycle to New York Harbor, traders said.

Gulf Coast 62-grade ultra-low sulfur diesel ULSD-DIFF-USG fell half a cent to 7.75 cents below the ULSD futures benchmark HOc1 on the New York Mercantile Exchange, they said.

Gulf Coast M2 conventional gasoline RU-DIFF-USG fell 1.75 cents to 9 cents below the gasoline futures benchmark RBc1, market participants said. A2 CBOB gasoline CBOB-DIFF-USG fell a cent to 18.5 cents below futures, traders said.

Chicago CBOB gasoline CBOB-DIFF-MC gained 2 cents to 10 cents below futures, while ULSD ULSD-DIFF-MC fell a cent to 9 cents below futures, market participants said.

Elsewhere in the Midwest, Group 3 V-grade gasoline RUV-DIFF-G3 fell a cent to 13 cents under futures, while diesel ULSD-DIFF-G3 gained a quarter of a cent to 3.25 cents below futures.

Gasoline futures rose 0.42 cents to settle at $2.1696 a gallon, and ULSD futures rose 1.54 cents to $2.4052.

Renewable fuel (D6) credits RIN-D6-US for 2025 traded between 116 cents and 115 cents, compared to between 112 and 113 cents on Monday, traders said.

Biomass-based (D4) credits RIN-D4-US traded between 112 cents and 121 cents, versus between 118.5 and 120 cents previously, they said.
