Google to invest $25 billion in data centers across Pennsylvania, neighboring states, Semafor reports

July 15 (Reuters) - Alphabet's GOOGL.O Google plans to invest more than $25 billion in data centers across Pennsylvania and neighboring states within the next two years, Semafor reported on Tuesday.
The tech giant has also signed a deal with Brookfield Asset Management BAM.TO that includes initial 20-year power purchase agreements, totaling $3 billion, for electricity generated from two hydropower facilities in Pennsylvania.
