CHICAGO, July 9 (Reuters) - Chicago Board of Trade soft red winter wheat futures finished nearly unchanged on Wednesday as advancing U.S. harvests kept a lid on the market.
Hard red winter wheat and hard red spring wheat futures edged higher.
The U.S. winter wheat harvest was more than half complete, according to U.S. Department of Agriculture data issued on Monday.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture on Thursday is expected to report weekly U.S. wheat export sales of 200,000 to 600,000 metric tons for 2025-26, analysts said in a Reuters poll.
The USDA on Friday is expected to trim its estimate for all-wheat production, analysts said in a separate poll.
CBOT September soft red winter wheat WU25 eased 3/4 cent to close at $5.47 per bushel.
K.C. September hard red winter wheat KWU25 rose 1-1/2 cents to $5.24 a bushel.
Minneapolis September spring wheat MWEU25 was last up 1-3/4 cents at $6.31-1/2 a bushel, and CBOT September hard red spring wheat HRSU25 was up 1-3/4 cents at $5.97 per bushel.
