US Cash Grains-Soybean basis bids steady to mixed at processors and river terminals

CHICAGO, June 27 (Reuters) - Spot basis bids for soybeans were flat to mixed at river terminals and processors in a spot check of locations around the U.S. Midwest on Friday. They were steady to higher at corn processors.

• The soybean basis dropped at a processor in Lafayette, Indiana, and it improved at a river terminal in Davenport, Iowa.

• The corn basis rose at a processor in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

• More locations rolled their contract months.

• Recent and upcoming showers are expected to limit dryness in corn and soy growing regions of the U.S. Midwest in the coming weeks, according to Commodity Weather Group, aiding crop development.
