CHICAGO, June 20 (Reuters) - Spot basis bids for corn and soybeans were unchanged to slightly higher in the U.S. Midwest on Friday afternoon, as grain dealers and farmers kept their focus on weather conditions affecting crops.
U.S. corn and soybean futures fell as favourable weather in much of the Midwest boosted crop production potential.GRA/
Still, farmers have been slow sellers of their crops because the most important periods of development are still to come this summer, dealers said.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture is set to issue a weekly update on corn and soy crop condition ratings on Monday.
