NEW YORK, May 29 (Reuters) - U.S. inventories of distillate fuel oil fell by 2.4 million barrels to 223.1 million barrels in the week ended May 23, the lowest since April 2005, data from the Energy Information Administration showed on Thursday.
Distillate fuel stocks, which include diesel and heating oil, fell to 46.5 million barrels in the U.S. Midwest region last week, the lowest since 2017, the EIA data showed.
