Canadian Prime Minister Carney welcomes U.S. court ruling on tariffs

OTTAWA, May 29 (Reuters) - Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney on Thursday welcomed a U.S. trade court ruling that blocked most of President Donald Trump's tariffs, many of which apply to imports from Canada.
"(This decision) is consistent with Canada's long standing position that the ... tariffs were unlawful as well as unjustified," he told the House of Commons.
