Exclusive: Rokstone adds Wise's Cooke as senior cargo underwriter

May 23 - (The Insurer) - Aventum-owned MGA Rokstone has bolstered its UK cargo division with the appointment of Wise Underwriting's Gary Cooke as senior underwriter, the company confirmed to The Insurer.
Cooke will join the company following the conclusion of his notice period, Rokstone said.
In a comment to The Insurer, Rokstone global CEO Ian Anson said that Cooke is "a highly experienced and trusted cargo underwriter with a strong broker following".
Cooke has spent the last seven years at Wise Underwriting, latterly as a senior underwriter.
His career also includes 17 years across various Lloyd's syndicates including Talbot and Sturge Syndicate 206.
Wise Underwriting did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
