Europe Gasoline/Naphtha-Gasoline refining margins rise further

- Northwest European gasoline profit margins rose by about 60 cents to $16.45 a barrel on Monday.

  • A total of 5,800 metric tons of Eurobob E5 barges traded in the Argus window on Monday, with Gunvor selling to BP and Shell.

  • A further 8,000 tons of E10 barges traded on Monday, with Gunvor and Sahara selling to Varo and Litasco.

  • The U.S. and China said on Monday they agreed to temporarily slash their steep tariffs on each other, sending oil prices up by 4% on Monday.​

  • EU and UK gasoline and blending component exports to other regions are expected to reach 1.14 million barrels per day in May, down slightly from 1.15 million bpd in April, Kpler data showed.
