
LONDON, May 8 (Reuters) - British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said the tariff cuts which were set out in the new U.S. trade deal would come into place as soon as possible.
"All of these tariff cuts will come into place as soon as possible," Starmer said during a visit to a factory in central England, having earlier taken a televised phone call with U.S. President Donald Trump in Washington where the deal was announced.
