EDF's Fontana: want 40 TWh/year from long-term contracts with industrial clients

PARIS, April 30 (Reuters) - Bernard Fontana, picked to be the next chief executive of French state-owned utility EDF, on Wednesday said he targeted signing long-term contracts with industrial clients amounting to 40 terawatt hours (TWh) per year.
Fontana was speaking to lawmakers who still have to approve his nomination before he takes up the role officially.
