
CHICAGO, April 25 (Reuters) - Chicago Board of Trade corn futures were mixed on Friday on spread trading, according to analysts, with nearby contracts ending slightly up and deferred contracts ending slightly down.
CBOT July corn CN25 settled up 1-1/2 cents at $4.85-1/2 per bushel.
CBOT September corn CU25 settled down 3/4 cent to $4.45-3/4.
Drier weather in parts of the Midwest over the next few weeks is expected to accelerate the seeding pace, according to Commodity Weather Group.
