Europe Gasoline/Naphtha-Gasoline margins dip lower

LONDON, April 2 (Reuters) - Northwest European gasoline refining profit margins dipped lower on Wednesday, from a seven-month high in the previous session, shedding 84 cents on the day to around $12.59 a barrel.

• A total of 2,000 metric tons of Eurobob E10 traded on Wednesday, with Shell selling a single barge to Mabanaft.

• Another 4,000 tons of Eurobob E5 traded on Wednesday, with Varo selling to Litasco, and Shell selling to Varo.

• European gasoline refinery profit margins fell on Wednesday despite a drop in U.S. products inventories last week, according to data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration.

• U.S. gasoline stocks fell by 1.6 million barrels in the week to 237.6 million barrels, the EIA said, compared with analysts' expectations in a Reuters poll for a 1.7 million-barrel draw.​

• Retail prices for gasoline fell sharply across Canada after the government on Tuesday removed consumer carbon taxes that had been in effect since 2019.

• The U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission issued an order to suspend Colonial Pipeline's proposed changes to fuel shipping terms for seven months, including to stop shipping different grades of gasoline at the same time and to reduce the total number of grades it moves on the pipeline.

• EU and UK gasoline and blending component exports to other regions reached 853,000 barrels per day (bpd) in March, Kpler data shows, down from 861,000 bpd in February.
