Europe Gasoline/Naphtha-Gasoline margins rebound

LONDON, April 1 (Reuters) - Northwest European gasoline refining profit margins rebounded on Tuesday to their highest since August 2024 at about $13.37 a barrel.

• A total of 6,000 metric tons of Eurobob E10 traded on Tuesday, with Shell and Gunvor selling to Varo, Litasco and BP.

• Another 2,000 tons of Eurobob E5 traded on Tuesday, with Shell selling to Musket.

• The fluidic catalytic cracker-3 unit at Motiva Enterprises' 626,000 barrel per day Port Arthur refinery in Texas is expected to remain offline for two weeks after an unsuccessful restart over the weekend, sources familiar with plant operations said on Monday

• China's oil consumption will rise 1.1% in 2025 to 765 million metric tons amid better than expected economic growth and increasing demand for petrochemicals, a think tank affiliated with state energy company China National Petroleum Corp (CNPC) said on Tuesday.

• An oil and biofuel coalition will meet with U.S. Environmental Protection Agency officials on Tuesday to make the case for higher federal mandates for biomass diesel blending, said three sources familiar with the plans.​

• EU and UK gasoline and blending component exports to other regions reached 865,000 barrels per day (bpd) in March, Kpler data shows, down from 868,000 bpd in February.
