
March 25 (Reuters) - Chicago Board of Trade wheat futures fell on Tuesday as the U.S. reached agreements with Ukraine and Russia to secure navigation of the Black Sea, said analysts.
CBOT May soft red winter wheat WK25 settled down 5 cents at $5.43-1/4 a bushel.
K.C. May hard red winter wheat KWK25 ended down 8-3/4 cents at $5.69-1/4 per bushel and Minneapolis May spring wheat MWEK25 fell 3-3/4 cents to end at $5.88-1/2 per bushel.
The United States reached deals on Tuesday with Ukraine and Russia to pause attacks at sea and against energy targets.
The development is bearish for wheat as the deals could create more security for Russian and Ukrainian export shipments.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture in a weekly crop report on Monday rated 49% of the winter wheat in top producer Kansas as in "good to excellent" condition, up 1 percentage point from the previous week.
The USDA rated 37% of Oklahoma's winter wheat as "good to excellent," down 9 percentage points from last week.
