MADRID, March 19 (Reuters) - ArcelorMittal's MT.LU Chief Executive Aditya Mittal said on Wednesday the European Union's proposed raft of trade-related measures to boost its ailing metals industry was "encouraging" and called for swift action to protect European producers.
"This now needs to be supported with rapid action that can put a stop to unfair trade, dumping and resource shuffling," Mittal said in a statement, adding that reducing energy costs was also crucial.
