No reason to discuss reintroducing Russian gas, says German official

BERLIN, March 19 (Reuters) - A German government official dismissed reports of discussions in Europe on reintroducing Russian gas to the continent, saying that would contradict the European Commission's plans to phase it out completely.
"The Commission will soon present a road map on the phasing out of Russian fossil fuels," the official told reporters. "That goes for all types of energy: gas and oil. So I don't know where these reports can come from."
