Honda, Suzuki to join Tesla's CO2 emissions pool for 2025

March 17 (Reuters) - Honda 7267.T and Suzuki 7269.T will pool carbon emissions with U.S. electric vehicle maker Tesla TSLA.O in 2025 to comply with European Union rules, an EU filing showed on Monday.
The pool also includes Stellantis STLA.MI, Toyota 7203.T, Ford F.N, Mazda 7261.T and Subaru 7270.T, the filing shows.
If not met, EU 2025 intermediate carbon reduction targets, or so-called CAFE standards, could cost automakers billions of euros in fines.
