MEXICO CITY, March 13 (Reuters) - Mexico Economy Minister Marcelo Ebrard on Thursday said his government was having intensive talks with the United States over its threats to impose a blanket 25% tariff on goods from its No. 1 trade partner by April 2.
The United States has repeatedly pushed back the date by which it said it will impose the tariffs, which are expected to have a big impact on both economies, which have become tightly integrated through free trade pacts over the last three decades.
