White House: US-Ukraine talks in Saudi have been productive

WASHINGTON, March 11 (Reuters) - Talks between top U.S. and Ukrainian officials in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on the Ukraine war have been positive and productive, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters on Tuesday.

She said U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and national security adviser Mike Waltz were negotiating with the Ukrainians and would be providing a readout soon on the talks.

"But I can assure you, and everybody here and the American people, that the news we've received from that meeting throughout the day, and the president has been briefed on, is positive. This meeting has been productive," she said.
