UK will not respond to US steel tariffs, British official says

LONDON, March 11 (Reuters) - Britain will not impose its own tariffs in response to U.S. tariffs on steel and aluminium which are due to come into force on Wednesday, a British government official said on Tuesday.
Britain was continuing to engage with the U.S. to secure an exemption, the official added.
