BRUSSELS, March 10 (Reuters) - The U.S. administration does not seem to be engaging in talks with the European Union on averting trade tariffs, EU Commissioner for trade Maros Sefcovic said on Monday.
"I travelled to the U.S. last month, seeking a constructive dialogue to avoid the unnecessary pain of measures and countermeasures," Sefcovic told reporters in Brussels.
"But in the end, one hand cannot clap. The U.S. administration does not seem to be engaging to make a deal."
