Britain, France to explore electric interconnection of about 1 GW

Feb 20 (Reuters) - British energy regulator Ofgem said on Thursday it has agreed with its French counterpart, CRE, to explore further opportunities for electricity interconnection between the two countries with capacities of around 1 gigawatt.
