Feb 19 (Reuters) - North Dakota oil production was estimated to be down between 100,000 and 130,000 barrels of oil per day as of Wednesday morning, due to the recent extreme cold and related operations challenges, the state's pipeline authority said.
North Dakota is the third largest oil-producing state in the United States.
Associated wellhead natural gas production was estimated to be down 0.28-0.37 billion cubic feet per day, Justin Kringstad, director of the North Dakota Pipeline Authority, said in an emailed statement.
"Warm weather is coming this weekend, so things should improve in the coming days and into next week," Kringstad said.
Oil output on Tuesday was estimated to be down between 120,000 and 150,000 bpd.
