Guyana, Dominican Republic making progress on oil exploration and refining

GEORGETOWN, Feb 18 (Reuters) - The governments of Guyana and the Dominican Republic have progressed on agreements for oil and gas exploration at an offshore block, a possible new refinery and a petrochemical plant in the South American country, Dominican President Luis Abinader said.
Abinader spoke at Guyana's Energy Conference in Georgetown.
