LONDON, Dec 31 (Reuters) - Northwest European gasoline refining profit margins ended the year lower at $7.47 per barrel, having started 2024 above $10 per barrel.
About 4,000 metric tons of Eurobob E5 barges traded. Shell sold to Trafigura.
A further 8,000 tons of Eurobob E10 traded. BP sold to Varo, Musket and Mabanaft.
Northwest European gasoline margins rose as high as $25 per barrel in April, then falling to remain below $10 per barrel in the last two months of 2024.
EU-27 and U.K. gasoline exports were set to drop sharply in December to 919,000 barrels per day (bpd), from 1.15 million bpd in November, according to Kpler data.
