ReutersDec 27, 2024 6:37 PM

- U.S. Gulf Coast refiners' net input of crude oil rose by 108,000 barrels per day (bpd) to about 9.4 million bpd in the week ended Dec. 20, the highest since January 2019, data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration showed on Wednesday.

High refiner intake resulted in a drawdown from Gulf Coast crude oil stockpiles, which declined by about 1.9 million barrels to about 231.5 million barrels last week, the lowest since September 2023, the EIA data showed.
