Vast Renewables Limited is a renewable energy company. The Company has developed concentrated solar power (CSP) systems to generate, store and dispatch carbon-free, utility-scale electricity and industrial heat, and to enable the production of green fuels. Its CSP system uses a distributed modular tower design and a sodium heat transfer loop to gather energy from the sun, which is then stored in molten salt for dispatch as either power or heat. It is focused on concentrated solar thermal power (CSP), delivering clean, dispatchable power and heat, and green fuels. The Company’s CSP v3.0 approach to CSP utilizes a modular sodium loop to efficiently capture and convert solar heat into these end products. Its projects under development include Vast Solar 1, Solar Methanol 1, SiliconAurora Pty Ltd, and EDF Australia. It is also developing 230 megawatts (MW) of projects in Australia and has a multi-GW global pipeline of potential CSP projects in North America, Europe and the Middle East.
