It is used as a treatment option for Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis (HT and Graves’ disease, including investigating any negative side effects of the use of AZD1656 as compared with treatment options for Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis and Graves’ disease. AZD5904 includes a potent, irreversible inhibitor of human myeloperoxidase (MPO), that has the potential to treat Idiopathic Male Infertility (IMI).
