April 9 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened little changed on Thursday, as a fragile U.S.-Iran ceasefire kept risk sentiment in check, offsetting gains in energy stocks as oil prices climbed.

At 09:33 a.m. ET, the Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX Composite Index .GSPTSE was up 33,640.61 points, or 0.05%.
