Global mining giants Rio Tinto RIO.N up 1.6% and BHP Group BHP.N rise 1.5%

Miners Southern Copper SCCO.N and Freeport-McMoRan FCX.N gains 2.1% and 2.3%, respectively

Canada's Hudbay Minerals HBM.TO, HBM.N jumps 2.9%, Ero Copper ERO.TO, ERO.N adds ~3% and Teck Resources TECKb.TO, TECK.N up 3.9%
