March 2 (Reuters) - Canada's main index opened lower on Monday, dragged down by the losses in tech and financial stocks, while worries that the Middle East conflict could drag on for weeks shook global markets and eclipsed a rise in energy shares.
At 9:33 a.m. ET, the S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 0.52% at 34,161.56 points.
