CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens higher as gold prices rebound, oil advances

- Canada's main stock index opened higher on Tuesday, led by mining and energy shares, as precious metals bounced back from their steepest two-day slide in decades and oil prices advanced.

At 09:31 a.m. ET, the S&P/TSX Composite Index .GSPTSE was up 0.83% at 32,451.53 points.
