U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded total net inflows of $6.84 million on Jan. 26, snapping a five-day streak of net outflows, according to Farside Investors. Spot Ethereum ETFs also turned positive, posting $117 million in net inflows after four consecutive days of outflows. Meanwhile, Solana spot ETFs saw net inflows of $2.46 million, while XRP spot ETFs recorded $7.76 million in net inflows.
Matrixport said continued gold purchases by central banks are supporting gold’s strength while putting relative pressure on Bitcoin. According to Mars Finance, the firm noted that rising concerns over the weakening purchasing power of the U.S. dollar, amid renewed tariff pushes and speculation over reduced foreign holdings of U.S. Treasuries, have driven central banks to shift more reserves into gold.
Official demand, particularly sustained buying by the People’s Bank of China, has provided strong support for gold prices. In contrast, Bitcoin remains largely absent from central bank reserve diversification frameworks, making gold the more mainstream asset for policymakers and helping explain the recent divergence in performance between the two.

BitMine bought 40,302 ETH since its last update on Jan. 20, reporting its total crypto and cash holdings stood at $12.8 billion on Monday. BitMine did not disclose the average purchase price, but at current prices, its latest ETH acquisition is worth around $117.1 million.
The overall net inflow of the US Bitcoin spot ETF on Monday was $6.84 million. The total net asset value of Bitcoin spot ETFs is $113.54 billion, and the ETF net asset ratio (market value compared to total Bitcoin market value) is 6.48%.
