
Jan 26 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened at a record high on Monday, lifted by mining stocks, as the precious metals rally continued, outweighing trade uncertainty sparked by U.S. President Donald Trump's threat to impose 100% tariffs on Canada.
At 09:30 a.m. ET, the S&P/TSX Composite Index .GSPTSE was up 0.57% at 33334.77 points.
