U.S.-listed shares of Canadian copper miner Teck Resources TECKb.TO rise 5% to $52.68 premarket
Co said in a regulatory filing on Tuesday that its annual copper production was 453,500 tonnes in 2025, supported by strong operational performance across all assets in Q4
Copper sales in Q4 2025 were lower than production, due to a build-up in inventory due to weather conditions
Zinc in concentrate production reached 565,000 tonnes
TECK also reaffirms 2026 copper production outlook at 200,000 to 235,000 tonnes
Expects reduced zinc output at Antamina mine in Peru at 35,000 tons to 45,000 tonnes, reflecting an updated mine plan
In 2025, TECK gained 18.1%
