U.S.-listed shares of Canadian miner Sigma Lithium SGML.O SGML.V down 5.3% at $14.83 premarket

BofA Global Research cuts rating to "underperform" from "neutral" citing unresolved operational and liquidity issues

Says no clarity on resumption of mining or receipt of cash from prepayments

"Even assuming a mid-January restart... it would likely take a several months to reach meaningful volumes, limiting material sales in 1Q26" - Brokerage

Adds that bigger concern is SGML still has to pay regular bills without an operating mine
