Tanger's SKT.N shares down 0.9% post-market to $33.74 as real estate investment trust seeks capital to refinance debt

Greensboro, North Carolina-based owner/operator of outlet and open-air shopping centers announces private offering of $200 mln 5-yr exchangeable notes

Co intends to use net offering proceeds to help repay all outstanding debt under lines of credit, fully repay outstanding $350 mln principal amount of its 3.125% notes due 2026, remainder for general purposes, including potential repayment of other indebtedness

It also plans to use a portion of proceeds to pay cost of capped calls, derivative transactions employed to help offset dilution, and use up to $20 mln to repurchase its shares to facilitate hedging transactions
