CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens higher on mining shares boost

Dec 30 (Reuters) - Canada's main equity index opened higher on Tuesday, buoyed by a recovery in mining stocks as gold and silver prices rebounded from Monday's sharp decline.
At 9:30 a.m. ET, the Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 0.37% at 32,014.94 points.
