SEOUL, Dec 23 (Reuters) - Shares of South Korea's Hanwha Ocean 042660.KS jumped 6% in morning trade on Tuesday after U.S. President Donald Trump said the company will participate in building frigates for the U.S. Navy.
"Last week, the Navy announced a brand new class of frigate and they're going to be working with the South Korean company Hanwha," Trump said at a press conference, calling Hanwha a "good company."
